  1. To review contemporary clinical reasoning theory and associated models of health and disability
  2. To review learning theory relevant to facilitating change in patients’ and students’ thinking and behaviour
  3. To review common errors in clinical reasoning
  4. To review theory on lateral, creative thinking
  5. To discuss activities to facilitate clinicians’ and students’ clinical reasoning
